  Apex Legends is one of the most anticipated battle royale games to launch in 2019. This massively multiplayer game is one of the most recent candidates to compete with the behemoth Fortnite. The modern survivalist concept is new and refreshing within the genre with everything we love from Titan Fall. It’s new take on Strategic Battle, Innovative Combat and a new twist on Downloadable Content the game has already has taken its share of the BR market. However, much of the mechanics are similar to other battle royale games the overall feel stands out from them all. Not to mention a strong start in development by Respawn Entertainment.

Apex Legends Story

After The Frontier War and a long reign of terror between the Interstellar Manufacturing Corporation and the Militia. Space has once again found peace. However, survivors are left to find home and resources to once again build a life. Unfortunately, the new frontier is littered with outlaws and other criminal minds. The only way to take possession and ownership of resources is to battle it out in the bloodthirsty “Apex Games“. Not to mention, players will go face to face with intergalactic bloodsport legends for money fame and glory.

Apex Legends Gameplay

Choose between three outlaw classes the soldiers, misfits, and misanthropes. Additionally, each class has their own skills and abilities. At the same time, play against 60 players at one time and try to be the last one standing. Play solo or join a squad. Safety is in numbers and by Joining other players you combine skills to get your team to the next level.

A Fresh Take on Combat

Staying alive depends on your skills and teamwork. With a new take on respawning teams have a greater chance of becoming Legends. With the use of respawning beacons, low health players can call on their teammates for respawning. Additionally, players are equipped with SmartComms in order for players to communicate with each other during battle.

Intelligent Inventory

This addition helps users only grab what is necessary for a battle. This gives players an upper hand instead of bulking up too much with the wrong equipment. No more floating into a fight. Apex Legends uses jumpmaster deployment to get you into action. Why waste time sightseeing on the way into battle? Start off with a bang and get right back at it as you fall from the sky like a meteor crashing into earth. Now, that’s an entrance.

Seasons

Much like other Battle Royal game, every season brings new challenges for you to unlock new legends, weapons, themed loot and more. Every season is different and never the same.  In fact, as you move along in the season you will notice your legend’s skills will need to adapt.

Final Opinion

This game stands out from the others delivering an interesting story, captivating characters and a new way to play battle royale. By the same token, we would definitely call it a Fortnite and PUBG fusion with an essence of Call of Duty. Furthermore, we can’t recommend this franchise enough because of how it stands apart from the rest. Finally, it’s good to have a fresh face in town with some out of this world weapons of mass destruction.
