The player takes on the role of a night shift security guard at a fictional pizza restaurant called “Freddy Fazbear’s Pizza,” where they must solve puzzles and defend themselves against a number of terrifying threats. Rich Storytelling

Upon starting the game, you’re informed that the restaurant’s animatronic attractions are allowed to roam freely at night, as their parts would lock up if left immobile for too long. You are then informed that if you’re caught by one of the animatronic animals that you will be forcefully stuffed into a spare mechanical costume, killing you in the process. What you do with that information is up to you, but the main goal, above all else, is to survive.

Engaging Gameplay

In Five Nights at Freddy’s, you (the player) must survive your shift at any cost. The goal of the game is to survive all five nights (or levels), which get progressively harder as time goes on. Your shift lasts from 12:00 AM to 6:00 AM (which is exactly 8 minutes and 36 seconds in real time, or 4 minutes and 30 seconds on mobile versions of the game). During your shift, you’ll be met with a number of challenges, most commonly surviving the assault of the animatronic animal robots that inhabit the restaurant. To do this, you must utilize the network security cameras throughout the restaurant to avoid them. Each camera functions differently and provides a new challenge from the last, ensuring the game will always have your attention.On top of that, even more game modes can be unlocked by completing the game.
